Salvia Experiences

Personal salvia experience reports on the effects of diviner's sage ingestion and various third-person clinical interpretations of the salvia experiences. In dosing and potency levels ranging from very subtle effects to very strong effects.

There is a wide variety and subjective-ness inherent in all salvia experiences, mainly because modern day society does not have the traditional vocabulary for effectively and efficiently communicating the details of any kind of psychedelic trip that exists in cultures with shamaic histories, let alone one as ephemeral as many diviner's sage experiences are. Certain authors, researchers and explorers such as Alexander Shulgin and Timothy Leary have tried to create these vocabularies, frameworks and structures from which to study the effects of psychotropic and shamanic plants and chemicals, but the intense individuality and uniqueness of the subconscious mind’s manifestations run wild mostly defeats these efforts for all intents and purposes.

Nonetheless many people have attempted related their sage experiences in the form of written experience reports. These are generally very subjective and can be hard to understand, but they compromise the best way presently available to relate the effects of the powerfully introspective trip. The intensity, duration and overall atmosphere of a salvia experience can vary greatly depending on the amount ingested, the potency of the product used (be it fresh leaves or fortified extract), the user's mindset, the phsycial time and place setting, and all of these factors are also very important to understand and control to have a healthy and rewarding shamanic experience.
